cant seem to get the update from 1.3.1 to your 1.3.4 to run. even tried the update from the t-deck option
I have an idea. So everytime there is an update to Andy's MeshOS app, it'll notify me on the creacked version that a new version is available. Is there any way to make updates available to the cracked version instead or disable update checking?

Wasn't the MeshOS app "inspired" by the Open Source client app? Certainly AI or not if I were a Grifter it is where I would start. MIT license, in fact any OSS license - in Grifter land doesn't that mean "Fill your boots". Hard fork, no attribution, nothing.
These Grifters need to be called out. I have stirred the pot on a couple of projects and urge foks to do the same. Else one day it will be your project that gets Grifted.

The Problem is not that he made an proprietary project, or has a paid one. The problem is he stole the original Project name, trademarked it and basically pretends in his videos that its all his work and that he's the original/official MeshCore.

for giggles try using andy's to load the firmware let me know if it makes a difference if it does i will investigate further into why tomorrow it is very late here and wont be able to investigate more for at least another 12 hours from now ..

@ZeroCool Its epic that it keeps getting cracked, the link to here gets posted to the mesh and there should be a coordinated effort to get that done more, make his stuff totally unviable till he caves.
I and many others have burned through a number of shadow accounts on the original DC, he deletes and bans for people questioning him, cry's over and over that people have heard only one side of the story then bans people for pressing him to actually give his side which he wont cos he knows the truth has already been told. I am sure you have looked into all the other ventures he is involved in, he is a shady man through and through an I already had him figured out before all this, never liked or trusted him.

:) And this is why we do what we do ;) I already cracked the new app the easy way, but I’m keeping those few tricks in my back pocket. I want to do it the hard way to make things truly unviable and document the process. It’s a fun learning experience, and this latest release has some really fun challenges.

Sounds good, brother. I am still working on Andy's latest APK release. He has added a lot of fun to this one. It's almost like he told his AI to keep making it more secure and played that on a loop for a few days 😂 I'm getting there though.
When I was on Meshtastic I found the MeshCore project and wanted to try it. The thing that really put me off was Andy. He just came across as kind of… disingenuous. Or he just gave me the ick.
I honestly believe he did not represent it or the community well. It always felt he was trying to elevate himself to a place of importance and trying take credit for a lot of other great people’s work (MeshCore was around before Andy got involved, but suddenly there was a lot of ‘we’ and ‘I’ in his MeshCore videos about things that were happening. Not ‘they’)
To the skilled people have spent hours of their own time to create using skills they have spent years learning and refining, and use that time and energy to contribute it to the world through Open Source… you are amazing! I love you and support you. To those who try to take that and profit of it… shame on you.

I'm just gonna point out the obvious. Andy Kirby is a typical narcissistic parasite. Tried to twist a community project into something for his own benefit. Open-source is open-source! Free as in freedom.
Make sure everything he has done is archived and publicly available forever. You can not reason with a parasite. What he did was so obviously malicious, and has clearly been planning it for some time. These people do not change, or magically "see the error of their ways". That's not how predatory people like Andy work. Parasites can not build anything on their own. He's a self-centered piece of filth, and always will be. Harsh, but it's true. Such people rear their ugly head when you least expect it.
Never trust a parasite. Ever. Never allow people like Andy, into any position of authority, because they will abuse it, they always do.

Once upon a time I believed in the MC project, but the more I looked into the project and got to know and read about the team, the more I wanted to distance myself with their project.
The project could have been brilliant, but at its CORE its rotten. Seems ironic really.
We had a good thing going on here. Flawed, because clients are not open, but still good.
Andy, you did a good job promoting MeshCore early on, but right now your contribution is negative. You create an app, but it's closed source like the others. The site you control is not even on Github, as if that was something that needs to be kept secret. And the trademark, jesus fucking christ mate... to do it like that without getting the others involved? That has to be one of the most destructive steps you could have taken.
All this is due to your decision to become the owner of the meshcore trademark. You didn't come up with the name, you didn't create it, you don't even write the code that makes all this run... why in the fuck would you think this would be acceptable to anyone?
And the worse of all - for a guy with a mic, camera, and a youtube channel - is the silence. No explanations, acting like nothing happened. As if people will ever let this slide.
What a way to torpedo a project. What a shame.
Andy, you're clearly missing the entire point of an open source project intended to connect people for free. Get your head out of your ass and quit being a pathetic wanker.

One thing is missing from Meshtastic... good routing. Until that changes, no one's going back.
Understand that Meshcore is behind on most things, size of development team, apps, device support, etc. If using Meshtastic was an option, almost no one would have left in the first place.
